Five days across Katra and the Patnitop hills
- Arrive at Jammu/Katra; transfer to your hotel.
- Complete the RFID registration; rest for the climb.
- Trek (or pony/palki/helicopter) to the Bhawan for darshan.

Yatra Registration: The Vaishno Devi yatra needs a free RFID registration/yatra slip from the Shrine Board (at Katra or online). We arrange it and guide you through the process.
The Trek: It is about 12–13 km from Katra to the Bhawan. You can walk, or take a pony, palki, battery car or helicopter (Katra–Sanjichhat) for most of the climb.
Best Time: March–October is pleasant; the Navratri period is the busiest. Winters are cold with occasional snow near the top.
How to Reach: Fly to Jammu (IXJ) or take the train to Katra (SVDK); it is a short drive to the base. We handle all transfers.

Patnitop is a pine-clad hill station in the Udhampur district, about 3 hours (110 km) from Katra on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. It sits around 2,000 m and stays pleasantly cool.
Enjoy pine-forest walks, the Sanasar meadow and lake, Nathatop's viewpoints and snow (in winter), paragliding, and simply relaxing in the cool mountain air. It is a gentle, scenic hill station.
Very - it combines a meaningful pilgrimage with a relaxing hill holiday, at an easy pace that suits children and elders. The Vaishno Devi climb can be done by pony or helicopter.
In winter (roughly December to February) Patnitop, Nathatop and Sanasar get snow. In spring and summer they are lush and green. We advise on current conditions for your dates.
Five days is comfortable - two around Katra for the yatra and two in Patnitop for the hills, plus travel. We can shorten or extend it to suit you.
