Important Notes

Please read before booking

🌲

Best Time: March–June is pleasant and green; December–February brings snow to Shimla, Manali and Kufri; July–September sees monsoon showers and occasional landslides.

🚌

How to Reach: The trip is by road in a private vehicle. Most itineraries start from Chandigarh or Delhi; the nearest airports are Chandigarh, Kullu (Bhuntar) and Gaggal (Dharamshala).

⚠️

Hill Roads: Himachal''s mountain roads are winding and slower than plains. We plan realistic drive times and use experienced local drivers.

💰

Money & Network: Carry some cash for smaller towns; ATMs are in main towns. Mobile network is good in cities and patchy in remote valleys.

Everything you need to know before you book

It is the most complete first tour of Himachal, covering Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala and Dalhousie in one trip. Each has a distinct character - colonial charm, snow and adventure, Tibetan culture, and Alpine meadows - so you experience the whole state.

Yes - the itinerary is paced with a mid-trip leisure day, so despite a couple of long drives you get meaningful time at each hill station without constant rushing.

There are three longer travel days (Shimla-Manali, Manali-Dharamshala, Dharamshala-Dalhousie), each broken up with stops. We use experienced hill drivers and start early to keep them comfortable.

In winter, Shimla, Kufri, Solang, Rohtang and even Dalhousie/Khajjiar can be snowy. In other seasons, snow is reached via the Rohtang/Atal Tunnel excursion near Manali.

It typically starts at Shimla (via Chandigarh/Kalka) and ends at Dalhousie (exiting via Pathankot). We can arrange Volvo, train or flight connections for both ends.

Yes - the sightseeing is gentle and the leisure day helps. For seniors, we can lighten the long drives, add rest and pick easy-access hotels. Just tell us your group.

Yes - with extra days we can extend into Spiti (from Manali) or the Parvati valley (Kasol). We will rebalance the itinerary into one seamless trip.

April to June for pleasant weather across all four, and September to November for clear skies. Winter is beautiful and snowy but colder with some slow roads; monsoon can cause delays.
