The Panch Prayag are the five sacred river confluences of the Alaknanda — Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag — where its tributaries join one by one until, at Devprayag, the Alaknanda meets the Bhagirathi and the Ganga is born.
This gentle, mostly-road journey traces the river up the Garhwal Himalayas, with darshan and aarti at each sangam. Comfortable hotels, meals and private transfers are handled — a spiritually rich trip with very little trekking.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Six days tracing the five confluences
- Drive to Devprayag, the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi.
- Evening at the sangam and the Raghunath temple; overnight.
- Drive to Rudraprayag, where the Mandakini meets the Alaknanda.
- Sangam darshan and the Rudranath temple; overnight.
- Drive to Karnaprayag, where the Pindar joins the Alaknanda.
- Sangam and the Uma Devi temple; overnight.
- Nandprayag (Nandakini sangam) en route.
- Continue past Vishnuprayag towards Joshimath; overnight.
- Visit Vishnuprayag (Dhauliganga sangam) and Joshimath's Narsingh temple.
- Optional Auli ropeway; overnight in Joshimath.
- Long, scenic drive back down the Alaknanda to Haridwar.
- Trip concludes on arrival.

Yatra registration: Char Dham Yatra registration (the tourist card / biometric registration) is mandatory for all pilgrims. We help you complete it before your journey.
Kedarnath trek: Kedarnath involves a roughly 16–18 km uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponies, palki (palanquin) and helicopter shuttles are available at your own cost. A basic fitness level is advised.
Best time: The shrines open around late April and close near Diwali. April–June and September–October are ideal; the July–August monsoon can bring landslides and road delays.
Altitude & weather: the higher shrines are at altitude with cold, fast-changing weather even in summer — carry warm layers year-round.
