Important Notes

Please read before booking

📝

Yatra registration: Char Dham Yatra registration (the tourist card / biometric registration) is mandatory for all pilgrims. We help you complete it before your journey.

🥾

Kedarnath trek: Kedarnath involves a roughly 16–18 km uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponies, palki (palanquin) and helicopter shuttles are available at your own cost. A basic fitness level is advised.

🌡️

Best time: The shrines open around late April and close near Diwali. April–June and September–October are ideal; the July–August monsoon can bring landslides and road delays.

⛰️

Altitude & weather: the higher shrines are at altitude with cold, fast-changing weather even in summer — carry warm layers year-round.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you book

Deoriatal is a small, mirror-still alpine lake near Sari village, famous for its perfect reflection of the Chaukhamba peaks. It is one of Uttarakhand's most photogenic short treks.

About 2.5 km uphill from Sari village — a short, gentle trek best done early morning when the lake is calm and the reflection is at its clearest.

This 7-day version adds the Deoriatal lake trek on top of Tungnath and Chandrashila, giving you two of the region's finest short treks alongside the Kedarnath and Badrinath darshan.

It is a genuine blend — full darshan at both dhams plus three short Himalayan treks (Kedarnath, Deoriatal, Tungnath). It suits pilgrims who also love the mountains.

A moderate fitness level helps, as there are several trekking days including the 16 km Kedarnath climb. The Deoriatal and Tungnath treks are short, and pony/helicopter options exist for Kedarnath.

You stay around Sari village and Chopta — a mix of comfortable guesthouses and, where suitable, forest-edge stays, all with the mountain scenery close at hand.

May–June and September–October, when the trekking trails are clear and dry and the Chaukhamba reflection at Deoriatal is at its best. The monsoon is best avoided for the treks.

Yes — we complete your mandatory Char Dham registration for Kedarnath and Badrinath; the Deoriatal and Tungnath treks do not need separate yatra registration.
