The Do Dham of Kedarnath and Badrinath is the most popular short pilgrimage in Uttarakhand — the two eastern shrines that most devotees prioritise. This 6-day trip from Haridwar takes you up the Mandakini valley for the Kedarnath trek, then across to Badrinath and Mana village.
You travel by private vehicle with hotel stays, pure-veg meals and an overnight at Kedarnath for the aarti. We handle your yatra registration and can add a Kedarnath helicopter shuttle if you'd rather not trek.

- Meet at Haridwar and drive to Guptkashi via Devprayag and Rudraprayag.
- Overnight in Guptkashi.
- Drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund and trek ~16 km to Kedarnath (pony/palki/helicopter at own cost).
- Evening darshan and aarti; overnight near Kedarnath.
- Morning darshan, then trek down to Gaurikund.
- Drive to Guptkashi; overnight.
- Drive via Joshimath to Badrinath.

Yatra registration: Char Dham Yatra registration (the tourist card / biometric registration) is mandatory for all pilgrims. We help you complete it before your journey.
Kedarnath trek: Kedarnath involves a roughly 16–18 km uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponies, palki (palanquin) and helicopter shuttles are available at your own cost. A basic fitness level is advised.
Best time: The shrines open around late April and close near Diwali. April–June and September–October are ideal; the July–August monsoon can bring landslides and road delays.
Altitude & weather: the higher shrines are at altitude with cold, fast-changing weather even in summer — carry warm layers year-round.

They are the two holiest and most visited shrines — Kedarnath is a Jyotirlinga of Shiva and Badrinath a principal Vishnu shrine — and they sit relatively close in the eastern Garhwal, so they combine naturally in under a week.
About 16 km uphill from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. You can also take a pony, a palki or a helicopter shuttle from Phata/Guptkashi at your own cost — we help you arrange it.
Yes — you overnight near Kedarnath so you can attend both the evening and the peaceful early-morning aarti before descending.
Yes — the mandatory yatra registration applies to individual shrines too, so you must be registered for Kedarnath and Badrinath. We complete it for you before departure.
Yes — we can pre-book a Kedarnath helicopter shuttle so you fly up and down while still driving to Badrinath. It is popular with senior pilgrims and those short on time.
Largely yes — Badrinath needs no trek, and for Kedarnath seniors usually take a pony, palki or helicopter. Tell us about any mobility needs and we will plan around them.
