One of Garhwal's most loved treks, Har Ki Dun — the "Valley of Gods" — is a cradle-shaped hanging valley in the Govind National Park, ringed by peaks including Swargarohini, and dotted with ancient villages like Osla that follow age-old traditions.
This 6-day guided trek from Sankri passes pine and oak forest, terraced fields and the Supin river. Stays, meals, forest permits and a guide are included — a moderate trek suitable for fit first-timers.

- Scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri village.
- Overnight in Sankri, gateway to the Govind National Park.
- Drive to Taluka and trek along the Supin river to Osla/Gangad.
- Overnight in a camp near the village.
- Trek up to the Har Ki Dun valley with Swargarohini views.

Permits: Forest / eco-development permits apply to areas like the Valley of Flowers and Nanda Devi Biosphere, and inner-line permits to Adi Kailash / Om Parvat. We arrange the required permits for you.
Fitness & altitude: These are moderate-to-hard high-altitude treks. Good cardio fitness, some prior trekking and gradual acclimatisation are important; we recommend carrying a doctor''s fitness note.
Best time: The Valley of Flowers is best in the July–September bloom; most other treks are best May–June and September–October, when the passes are clear.
Guided & supported: Treks are guided with a support team and camping where required. Weather can change fast at altitude — carry proper trek shoes, warm layers and rain protection.

Har Ki Dun, the "Valley of Gods", is a cradle-shaped hanging valley in the Govind National Park, framed by peaks like Swargarohini and dotted with ancient traditional villages.
It is easy to moderate — gradual gradients along the Supin river over a few days, at a maximum altitude of ~3,560 m. It is a great trek for fit first-timers.
From Sankri village, about a 200 km scenic drive from Dehradun. Sankri is the gateway to several Govind National Park treks.
April to June and September to November. It can also be done as a winter snow trek. The monsoon brings leeches and slippery, less rewarding trails.
Yes — it lies within the Govind National Park, so forest permits are required. We arrange the permits as part of the trek.
Villages such as Osla and Gangad are among the oldest in the region, with distinctive wooden architecture and age-old customs — please visit respectfully.
A mix — a guesthouse/homestay at Sankri and supported camping in the valley. Tents, sleeping bags and meals are provided.
