Day-by-Day Itinerary
Nine days of darshan and trekking
- Drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi.
- Overnight in Guptkashi.
- Trek to Kedarnath (pony/palki/helicopter optional).
- Evening aarti; overnight near Kedarnath.
- Trek down and drive towards Pipalkoti.
- Overnight en route to Badrinath.
- Drive to Badrinath; darshan and the Tapt Kund.
- Visit Mana village; overnight in Badrinath.
- Drive to Govindghat and trek ~9 km to Ghangaria.
- Overnight in Ghangaria.
- Trek into the Valley of Flowers on a day permit.
- Return to Ghangaria; overnight.
- Steep trek to Hemkund Sahib (~4,300 m) and its glacial lake.
- Darshan; descend to Ghangaria.
- Trek down to Govindghat and drive to Rudraprayag.
- Overnight in Rudraprayag.
- Drive back to Haridwar.
- Trip concludes on arrival.

Please read before booking
Permits: Forest / eco-development permits apply to areas like the Valley of Flowers and Nanda Devi Biosphere, and inner-line permits to Adi Kailash / Om Parvat. We arrange the required permits for you.
Fitness & altitude: These are moderate-to-hard high-altitude treks. Good cardio fitness, some prior trekking and gradual acclimatisation are important; we recommend carrying a doctor''s fitness note.
Best time: The Valley of Flowers is best in the July–September bloom; most other treks are best May–June and September–October, when the passes are clear.
Guided & supported: Treks are guided with a support team and camping where required. Weather can change fast at altitude — carry proper trek shoes, warm layers and rain protection.

Because that is when the Valley of Flowers blooms. The dhams are open through this period too, so the combination works perfectly in the monsoon window.
Quite fit — the itinerary includes the 16 km Kedarnath trek, the steep Hemkund climb and the valley walk. Pony/palki/helicopter options exist for Kedarnath.
Yes — we arrange the mandatory Char Dham registration for Kedarnath and Badrinath and the forest permit for the Valley of Flowers.
Some — expect rain and occasional road/trail delays in the hills during the bloom season. Good rain gear is essential, and we build in flexibility.
Yes — after Badrinath darshan you visit Mana, India's last village, before continuing to the Govindghat trek base.
You can take a helicopter shuttle for Kedarnath (own cost) to save the trek, while still doing Badrinath and the Hemkund/Valley treks. Tell us in advance.
