Many pilgrims like to begin the Char Dham where the mountains meet the Ganga — at Rishikesh. This 10-day trip starts and ends there, so you can enjoy the ghats and evening aarti before and after the yatra to all four dhams.

Ten days from Rishikesh across the four dhams
- Depart Rishikesh and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie.
- Overnight in Barkot.
- Trek from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri; the Surya Kund.
- Return to Barkot.
- Drive to Uttarkashi.
- Overnight in Uttarkashi.
- Drive to Gangotri via Harsil; darshan.
- Return to Uttarkashi.
- Long transfer to Guptkashi.
- Overnight; prepare for Kedarnath.
- Trek (or pony/palki/helicopter) to Kedarnath.

Yatra registration: Char Dham Yatra registration (the tourist card / biometric registration) is mandatory for all pilgrims. We help you complete it before your journey.
Kedarnath trek: Kedarnath involves a roughly 16–18 km uphill trek from Gaurikund. Ponies, palki (palanquin) and helicopter shuttles are available at your own cost. A basic fitness level is advised.
Best time: The shrines open around late April and close near Diwali. April–June and September–October are ideal; the July–August monsoon can bring landslides and road delays.
Altitude & weather: the higher shrines are at altitude with cold, fast-changing weather even in summer — carry warm layers year-round.

Rishikesh is well connected by road and rail (Rishikesh/Haridwar stations) and by air via Dehradun. We can arrange transfers from any of these.
April–June and September–October, in line with the shrine opening season. The monsoon is best avoided for landslides.
