About this Jyotirlinga Tour
Two of the twelve sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva - Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar - in one soulful trip.
Madhya Pradesh is home to two of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and this trip covers both. In Ujjain you visit the mighty Mahakaleshwar - the only south-facing Jyotirlinga, famous for its pre-dawn Bhasma Aarti - along with the Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth, the powerful Kaal Bhairav temple, and a holy dip at the Shipra ghats. The grand Mahakal Lok corridor and its evening light show are a highlight.
Then drive to Omkareshwar, an Om-shaped island in the sacred Narmada, home to the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga and, across the river, the Mamleshwar temple. Bathe in the Narmada, cross by boat or bridge, and soak in one of India's most beautiful temple settings. Everything runs on a private cab (a comfortable sedan for up to 4 guests) with handpicked stays and smart darshan timings.
