From 11 to 13 December 2026, Wisdom Valley in Chonburi becomes the most-wanted dance floor on the planet. Here is everything an Indian traveller needs to know: dates, venue, how tickets work now that the official sale is over, where to stay, visa rules, what it costs, and a ready five-day plan.

What is Tomorrowland, and why is Thailand a big deal?
Tomorrowland started in Belgium in 2005 and grew into the world's most famous electronic music festival: fairytale stages the size of buildings, fireworks every night, and a crowd that flies in from more than 200 countries. Editions have since run in Brazil and in the French Alps, but Asia never had one. Thailand 2026 changes that.
For Indian fans this is the closest Tomorrowland will ever have been. Bangkok is a direct four to five hour flight from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and more; Indians currently enter Thailand without a visa; and December is Thailand's best weather. Belgium involves a Schengen visa, a long-haul flight and a camping tent. Thailand involves a beach hotel and a 30-minute drive.
Dates and festival days
The festival runs over three days, Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2026. A Full Madness Pass covers all three days. Most visitors arrive on 10 December and leave on 14 December, which is exactly how our Tomorrowland Thailand package is built.
Exact gate timings are published by the organiser closer to the date through the official app. Expect afternoon openings and late-night closings each day, and plan slow mornings.
The venue: Wisdom Valley, Chonburi
Wisdom Valley sits in Khao Mai Kaew, Bang Lamung district of Chonburi province, the same province as Pattaya. It is a large open-air site built for exactly this scale of event, with the Mainstage joined by the CORE stage and the Freedom stage, two Tomorrowland signatures making their first appearance in Asia.
- From Pattaya: about 30 minutes by road.
- From Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (BKK): roughly 90 minutes via Motorway 7, longer on festival days.
- Nearest airport: U-Tapao (UTP), but it has very few flights, so almost everyone flies into Bangkok.
There is no camping at this edition. Every visitor needs a hotel, and the organiser's own hotel packages sold out in February. That makes accommodation the second thing to sort immediately after your pass.
Tickets: what happened, and what still works
The official timeline was short and brutal. Pre-registration opened on 8 January 2026, hotel packages sold on 28 February, and the worldwide pass sale on 7 March cleared every category within hours. The official face prices were 12,500 THB for a Full Madness Pass, 20,200 THB for the Comfort version, and 5,100 THB for a day pass. All of them are now sold out on the official site.
What remained officially was a waiting list through the organiser's exchange desk, which never guaranteed a pass, and a handful of appointed travel partners in Thailand with their own allocations. Everything else you see on social media is a gamble: Tomorrowland bracelets are personalised to the holder, and the organiser can cancel a bracelet that is not registered to the person wearing it.

- Passport is your ID. It is checked against your personalised bracelet at the gate. Carry the original every day.
- Bracelets, not paper tickets. Passes are wristbands registered to one person. Do not buy one registered to someone else.
Where to stay: Pattaya, not Bangkok
Pattaya is the obvious base. It is about 30 minutes from the venue, has hundreds of hotels at every price, and gives you beaches, Coral Island boat trips and the Sanctuary of Truth for lazy festival mornings. Bangkok is 90 minutes or more each way on normal days and worse on festival nights, so three nights of commuting from the capital makes no sense.

Visa for Indians
Indian passport holders currently enter Thailand visa-free for tourism, for stays of up to 60 days. You need a passport valid for at least six months, a confirmed return ticket, proof of your hotel, and the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card, filled online a couple of days before you fly. - 10 Dec, Wednesday: Land in Bangkok, private transfer to Pattaya (about 2 hours), check in, collect bracelets as instructed, early night.
- 11 Dec, Friday: Beach morning, then Wisdom Valley for opening night.
- 12 Dec, Saturday: Sleep in. Optional Coral Island speedboat or Sanctuary of Truth. Second festival night.
- 13 Dec, Sunday: Pack early, closing night and fireworks.
- 14 Dec, Monday: Check out by noon, transfer to Bangkok airport, fly home. Or extend into Bangkok shopping or a Phuket beach week.
Getting to the venue each day
Airport transfers are part of our package, but daily hotel-to-venue trips are on you, and this is where groups get stuck. Ride apps like Grab and Bolt work in Pattaya, but at closing time 50,000 people are trying to leave at once, so expect surge pricing and long waits.
